Marshall Mathers Amplifies Crypto.com Ad Ahead of NBA Playoff Showcase

On April 26, the digital currency exchange unveiled a new advertisement featuring the Crypto.com Arena and several prominent athletes. Scheduled to broadcast on Saturday, the ad will play during the Lakers NBA Playoff game at the Los Angeles venue. Additionally, Crypto.com disclosed its role as the official jersey patch partner for the Philadelphia 76ers throughout the playoffs.

Steven Kalifowitz, the chief marketing officer of Crypto.com, conveyed to Bitcoin.com News that Crypto.com has established itself as a well-known brand. “Crypto.com has become one of the most recognized global brands by partnering with iconic people, places, and events, including hosting the NBA Playoffs at the historic Crypto.com Arena and the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix next weekend,” Kalifowitz said.

The firm’s CMO added:

Moreover, the acclaimed rapper Marshall Mathers, widely recognized by his stage name Eminem, promoted the company’s advertisement. “You know what it’s always been,” Mathers posted on the social media platform X to his 22 million followers.

He explicitly acknowledged the promotional nature of the post by using the hashtag “#Ad” in his update. Eminem is noted for his support of cryptocurrency and owns one of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) non-fungible tokens.
